The All Purpose sail loft in La Trinité sur Mer-Carnac is managed by four co-directors, all of whom are accomplished sailors and technicians. They put their experience in sailing and sailmaking at the service of the company and its customers.

The La Trinité-Carnac All Purpose loft driven by a team of four :

  • Brice Berthier : Loft manager and sales manager
  • François Lamiot : Administrative manager and AP Canvas & Upholstery in Brech
  • Julien Texier : Loft production manager and design
  • Rémi Aubrun :  Head of design department and major projects

A team of experienced sailmakers and sailors, for whom sailmaking  is both a science and a passion

Brice Berthier

15 years of experience at Technique Voile, North Sails and Incidences. Involved in the America's Cup from 1986 to 1992 as manager of the French syndicates’ sail lofts. 16 years of experience at the head of All Purpose. Brice Berthier is recognized as an expert in sailmaking, a reputation reinforced by the quality of All Purpose sails and on-the-water results. Brice has also built numerous multihull sails for Fleury Michon, Elf Aquitaine, Fujifilm, Banque Populaire, La Trinitaine and Bayer.

François Lamiot

François Lamiot’s extensive experience comes from competing at the highest level in races including the Solitaire du Figaro (2nd in 1987, 3rd in 1991), the Admiral's Cup,  the America’s Cup on Ville de Paris in 1992, the Tour de France (3 victories), and numerous RORC Championships. He is well placed to ensure that sails are designed for the rigours of sailing and competition.

Rémi Aubrun

In addition to podium race results (Mini 6.50, Class40, Tour de France, Match Racing, Maxis, Australian 18 Foot Skiffs...), Rémi’s significant sailmaking experience stems from building the sails for Il Moro Di Venezia for the 1992 America's Cup, the French Challenge for the 1995 edition, as well as for numerous Open 60s (Loïck Peyron, Isabelle Autissier, Francis Joyon) amongst others.

Julien Texier

 Julien Texier joined the team at La Trinité sur Mer in 2010 in order to assist with the excellent results of the sail loft and to satisfy an increasingly strong demand in terms of quality and performance. His role is to manage production. 
Julien is an accomplished sailor and is specifically involved in sports boats. He has been sailing for over 15 years in dinghies and IRC boats. He is tactician on a Mach 6.5, and can also make himself available to race on your boat!
